What would you recommend for a destructive dog?

None of our products are meant to withstand chewing, shredding, ripping, or general rough play! Pets should be supervised when snuffling so they can be redirected if they get too rough. Our items are not guaranteed to hold up against destructive behaviors!

That being said, snuffle mats are a thicker and more solid product and also less likely to be used like a toy - we have found that even destructive pups don't try to destroy their snuffle mats as long as they're removed when food is all gone!

How long will my order take to ship?

Due to the fact that all orders are custom made, it can take an average of 1-2 weeks for completion! Larger orders of over 4 items may take longer. If you have questions about timeline or a specific date you would like to receive your order by, please reach out and we will see what we can work out!

Do you ship outside the US?

Unfortunately due to shipping costs our products are not available outside of the US

How should I clean my snuffle stuff?

All our items are machine washable and dryer safe!

Washing should always be done with scent free detergent so sensitive noses aren't irritated! Then you can toss them in the dryer on low/medium heat until totally dry.

We also recommend throwing a few towels in if you only have 1-2 snuffle items - this will keep your washer balanced so it can drain properly!

Isn’t enrichment just for dogs?

Little pets need enrichment too! In the wild, the majority of a small animal’s life is spent finding food. In captivity, food is usually just dumped in a bowl - so boring! A bored pet can be destructive or pick up annoying habits like bar twanging, chewing on cage parts, or even over grooming. Pets like rats and ferrets are also highly intelligent and love a challenge!

My pet doesn’t seem interested in snuffling - what do I do?

Pets that aren’t super food motivated may get discouraged if the food is too difficult to get - try making it easier! For new snufflers we recommend just scattering the food on top of the mat or barely putting it in the folds of a ball, rings, or bag. Make it fun and rewarding for them! You can also use a snuffle mat to build trust, focus, or just a good relationship with a puppy or a new dog by sitting down with them and hiding treats one by one as they snuffle! That way they know the treats come from you and you can also get them used to the idea of using their nose to find the food.

I can get a snuffle mat on Amazon for $20…why isn’t your stuff cheaper?

Unlike Amazon, we don’t have thousands of people working for scraps in giant warehouses overseas :) we also don’t have giant subsidies to get our materials for pennies! Each mat is custom made to order and made by hand - every strip, circle, or square is cut individually by one person and then assembled. We also use only high quality luxury anti pill fleece (none of that cheap tissue paper feeling junk) so your mat is thick, soft, and made to last. Supporting small business will never be as cheap as Amazon or Walmart….but we promise the extra cost will always mean a much better bang for your buck!
